Västerbotten County is Sweden's second largest county and occupies an eighth of Sweden's surface. Like Norrbotten, Västerbotten offers a lovely northern landscape with plenty of rivers, mountain lakes, coastal scenery and mountain nature. Along the bottom of the bottom, it is a fairly rugged coastal landscape which then forms a more classic mountain environment in the western parts. In the hinterland, nature is dominated by forests and marshes with immense numbers of lakes. Västerbotten is located directly south of the Arctic Circle, which offers wonderful summer evenings with midnight sun and bright days.
